Rosewood

Mechanism designed multiple outdoor areas at Rosewood, a family estate in Chehalis, Washington. The first area features a 12'x8' custom cedar booth that surrounds a seven foot long weathered steel fire pit. A canopy of bamboo will grow around the area to create a sense of enclosure. What was previously a sea of unusable, crumbling concrete is now a welcoming, usable space for gathering.
